Every year the FIAP hold a number of Prestigious Biennial Competitions for its member countries. The PAGB makes an entry on behalf of ‘Great Britain and Northern Ireland’. This year we would like to invite you to take part in this selection process for the FIAP Nature Biennial by submitting up to 12 nature images across the following three categories;

The results of the first round of the PDI completion 2022-23 were judged on the 4th of October 2022.

The 1st Print competition of the season was held on November 1st 2022 and was ably judged by Peter Walton from Sunderland.

The South Tyne Print Competition was hosted by South Shields Photographic Society this year and judged by Ivor Robinson of Hartlepool. Hexham Photographic Society came 3rd overall this year.

The 2nd PDI Competition was judged by Will Ireland, from Winlaton Club, on the 6th of December 2022.

The 2nd Print Competition was judged by Bill Broadley, from Blyth Photographic Society, on the 3rd of January 2023.

The third PDI competition was well supported and ably judged by Arjun Nambiar. He gave a good insight into the choices we could make when making photographs.

Lynda Golightly expertly judged the third round of the 2022-23 Print competition from Whickam Photographic Club, many thanks to Linda for taking the time to review our prints and deliver her comments on them.
