Using a selection of photographs by John Pattison Gibson (1838-1912) as the "then" images we are inviting people to follow in Gibson’s footsteps and take a “now” photograph of the scenes Gibson so enjoyed exploring and photographing all those years ago.
There are 5 scenes that you can choose to replicate. You may enter one “now” photograph for every “then” image so you can enter up to 5 photographs.
The competition has two age categories, one for young adults (12 to 17) and one for adults over 18. The competition now runs until Monday the 16th of January 2023, full details can be found on the Northumberland Libraries website using the links below.
