2nd PDI Competition Results

The second PDI competition was expertly judged on the 17th November 2020 by Lynda Golightly of Consett Photographic Society. 1st PDI Competition Results

The first PDI competition of the season took place on Tuesday 13th October. via Zoom. The meeting was well attended and the judge Keith Archer CPAGB from Ryton and District Camera club.gave .  considered and helpful comments on our work.  Members enjoyed the evening so thank you very much Keith.  Thank you also to all who entered the to make this a successful competition. 1st Internally Judged PDI Competition 2020-2021

The 1st Internally judged PDI competition on the subject ” Hands ”  is now open for members to judge below.       Voting has now closed. Voting will close on 23rd October 2020.    

Image of the Year Competition Results 2019-20

Following the decision by the club committee and council members, that this years traditional Print of the year competition should continue in a digital form the club met via Zoom video conference at 7:30pm Tuesday the 14th April to hear the results and comments from the Judge Jim Welsh of Blyth Photographic Society.   Many thanks go to Jim who did a fantastic job presenting the images providing both a constructive and insightful commentary on all the images submitted. 3rd Print Competition Results 2019-2020

The 3rd Print Competition of the season was held on 4th February 2020 at the Torch Centre. The judge for the evening was Alan Porrett from Whitley Bay who had about 70 prints to get through. Externally Judged PDI – 7th Jan 2020

Our inaugural foray into an externally judged PDI competition took place on the 7th January 2020. Our judge for the evening was Malcolm Boyd from Castleside & District PC, where he is extremely busy as Treasurer and Secretary. Many thanks Malcolm for an entertaining evening at the Torch Centre, our first meeting of the new decade! 2nd Print Competition 2019-2020 Season

The second Print competition of the 2019-20 season took place on Tuesday the 3rd of December. Many Thanks go to the judge for this round of the competition, David Stout ARPS DPAGB EFIAP PPSA, of Whickham Photographic Club who delivered members constructive feedback on all images submitted.   As agreed at the AGM the competition was judged on the one evening with separate competitions for Beginner and Advanced workers in both Colour & Mono.
