Photography Competition – Water in the Uplands

The Peak District National Park, Moors for the Future Partnership, Community Science project, have launched a Photography Competition. The theme this year is ‘Water in the Uplands’, and the deadline for entries is quite soon – midday 31st December 2016.   Water is a vital part of moorland and blanket bog ecosystems – allowing peat to form and wildlife to thrive. The partnership are looking for photos which show off water in these ‘upland’ habitats.   The competition is open to all amateur photographers and includes a prize for each age category. Epson P50 Printer – For Sale

Epson P50 Printer in full working order and provided complete with mains lead, usb cable and CD tray.     The printer is currently setup with a Fotospeed tubeless inkflow system (refillable cartridges) and will come with the remaining spare ink. This works best when profiled to specific paper – I have been using Fotospeed PFLustre275 and MattUltra so could include the profiles to get you going. Tall Ships Assignment

On August Bank Holiday Weekend 2016, the Tall Ships came to Blyth in Northumberland.  Although not a traditional HPS assignment, a few members attended the event over the four days and this is a collection of selected images.

South Tyne Area PDI Competition Results 2016

Scored 25 out of 30 in South Tyne PDI Competition 2016

The South Tyne area DPI competition took place on the 10th November 2016 at Gateshead Camera Club and was judged by Jim Welsh LRPS CPAGB. Hexham placed 2nd of the 6 clubs that took part this year scoring a total of 256 points.
