Peter Newman will deliver a talk about his love affair with panoramic photography.
Peter found panoramas a means of bringing home memories of adventures and experiences – more satisfying than single images.
It all started for with the advent of digital photography and at a time when the technology and price at last became a reasonable and affordable compromise.
He has been taking panoramas since 2000, with a multitude of cameras following developing technical capability. He plans to bring along his camera collection to illustrate developing camera capability over two decades and will demonstrate the use of pano heads with fisheye lenses to enable 360/180 immersive panos.
